Deck Gear

There is Lofrans windlass with forward remote and cockpit control switches.  The main anchor is a 35lb. Bruce style with 235' chain and the two secondary ones are Danforth style stowed on deck, each with chain/rope rodes of approximately 200'.  "Dargason" carries several 25' docklines and springs, a double sea anchor with 200' of line.  Four large fenders, two boat hooks and an anchor buoy are also carried.  There is a teak boarding ladder which can be fitted anywhere on the toe rail.  The double lifelines have boarding gates at the cockpit.

A Frig-O-Boat refrigeration system with a keel cooler was installed in 2003.

Hot and cold water is pressurized to all three sinks by a Par water pump with accumulator.  The galley sink is also provided with fresh and salt-water hand pumps.  The hot water tank is a Seaward stainless steel tank with an 11 gallon capacity.

The 50-gallon water system is supplemented with a Village Marine Tec LWM200 reverse osmosis water maker fitted in the forward cabin.

The steering system is Wagner hydraulic, and was recently overhauled.

An Espar diesel heater provides interior heating when required.
